Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of [Employer hidden], ensuring the charity is well-run, solvent and delivering its charitable objectives. Working collaboratively with fellow Trustees and the Executive team, you will: provide strategic oversight and guidance, ensure effective governance structures and processes are in place
Trustees also contribute through committee work and may support fundraising, partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
We welcome applications from individuals with strategic leadership experience and a commitment to good governance. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in: Social care or safeguarding Finance, audit or risk HR, workforce or organisational development Governance and regulatory compliance Public policy and influencing Fundraising, partnerships or community engagement Lived experience or strong links with the Jewish community

The Board meets four times per year, and each committee meets four times per year. Trustees are expected to: serve on at least one committee, (committee meetings are virtual) prepare for and attend meetings engage with [Employer hidden]’s work and sector developments occasionally represent [Employer hidden] at events or forums
