Family Law Admin Support
Paperweight is looking for a volunteer with excellent computer literacy to support our Family Support Clinic. This role involves assisting caseworkers during client appointments by typing notes and helping to complete required forms while the client is present. The volunteer will sit in the clinic alongside the caseworker and provide practical administrative support to ensure accurate note-taking and efficient completion of documentation during meetings. Key Responsibilities • Typing notes during client meetings in the Family Support Clinic • Assisting caseworkers with completing relevant forms and documentation • Supporting the smooth running of the clinic by providing administrative assistance • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times Skills Required • Excellent computer literacy and fast, accurate typing • Confidence using Microsoft Office and online forms • Good attention to detail • Strong organisational skills • Ability to work sensitively and professionally in client-facing situations
By volunteering in the Family Support Clinic, you will be helping clients at a critical and often very distressing time in their lives. Your support will enable caseworkers to focus fully on listening to and advising clients, while ensuring that notes and important forms are completed accurately and efficiently during the appointment. Your role will help the clinic run smoothly and allow more clients to receive the support they need. In doing so, you will play an important part in helping individuals and families navigate difficult situations with greater clarity, reassurance and support.
This role would suit someone who is organised, discreet and comfortable working in a supportive environment alongside caseworkers and clients.
