Volunteer Drivers Needed

Chai is looking for caring volunteer drivers to bring clients to and from its flagship centre in Hendon. Own car is essential.

What difference you will make

This is an important role as clients often build relationships with regular drivers and are an additional support to those going through a cancer journey.

What additional skills or experience you should have

Chai is looking for warm, compassionate individuals who are willing to be flexible as this is ad hoc. We like to ensure that our volunteers fully understand and appreciate the issues that are important to our clients. As such we ask that volunteers have some personal or family experience of cancer at least 18 months in the past.

What training we will provide for you

Chai provides training before starting the role and offers ongoing training.
