Landlord Tenancy and Eviction Caseworker
We are seeking to recruit volunteer housing caseworkers to assist and support clients with various housing-related inquiries. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong, up-to-date understanding of housing law, including homelessness, Section 21 and Section 8, as well as knowledge of landlord-tenant issues across the social, housing association, and private sectors.
What difference you will make
This role will support the client's that the charity takes calls from in these housing situations.
What additional skills or experience you should have
Knowledge of Section 21 and Section 8 and general eviction. This would suit a retired solicitor with landlord tenancy knowledge.
What training we will provide for you
Prior knowledge in this area is required but extra training will be provided to support the caseworker. Training in using our database will be provided.
