About the role

During your placement within the Service Delivery Team, you will gain hands-on, practical experience in an IT support role within a public-sector organisation to expand and develop your transferable skills. This role offers an excellent entry point for individuals seeking a career in IT.

You will provide administrative and technical support to business areas across [Employer hidden] and communicate with other teams and external customers. You will gain hands-on, practical experience in a dynamic public-sector organisation over your year’s placement to expand and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a high level of customer service, by responding to queries quickly and accurately, and building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Following administrative procedures and using Microsoft applications and organisational systems.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative and technical procedures and systems.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, ensuring information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible.
