We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for general haulage work based out of Bathgate. This role involves a mix of trunking and delivery work, offering regular, well-planned runs and ongoing opportunities for the right drivers. Ideal for drivers looking for consistent work with competitive rates.
The Role:
- General haulage duties from the Bathgate depot
- Trunking to distribution centres and customer sites
- Collections and deliveries as required
- Dayshift & nightshifts available
- Completing all PODs and paperwork accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Working in line with drivers’ hours and road transport legislation
Driver Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Minimum 12months Class 1 experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and represent the company well
