FULL DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for supervising and supporting pupils during lunchtime, extracurricular activities, the Klubhouse (Wednesday afternoons), and the After-School Care program, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pupil Supervision and Support

  • Supervise pupils in designated areas (canteen, playground, activity and aftercare rooms)
  • Organise access to the canteen and ensure smooth lunchtime procedures
  • Encourage participation in activities offered during extracurricular periods
  • Support children with their homework during After-School Care

Activity Organisation

  • Propose, plan, and lead a range of age-appropriate activities (art, sports, games)
  • Prepare and manage the necessary materials
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to enrich the club and activity programmes

Safety and Administrative Tasks

  • Ensure pupil safety during transitions between clubs or activities
  • Ensure all pupils are collected by authorised individuals
  • Keep accurate attendance records, including for late registrations

Other Duties

  • Follow the school’s safeguarding, health and safety policies
  • Take part in training opportunities and contribute to your professional development
  • Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of rooms and equipment
