Directorate: Print, Scan, and Data Management Department

Job Purpose:

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering high-quality printed materials on time, supporting internal teams across the business. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence help keep our print operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Working Environment

  • Print room producing multiple document types with varied and frequent deadlines
  • Based on a large [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] client site with some walking required between buildings
  • May require lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Standing for long periods during shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of digital printing machines, wide format printer, 3D printer, CD/DVD Burner, and all finishing equipment
  • Manage print jobs from start to finish, including setup, printing and finishing
  • Monitor print quality and troubleshoot issues with equipment or output
  • Continuous adherence to SLAs and KPIs
  • Maintain inventory of paper, toner, and other supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Liaise with internal departments to meet printing needs and deadlines
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records for tracking print jobs, reporting and billing purposes
  • Adhere to customer’s security classifications and associated protocols
  • Carry out any additional duties as requested

Skills & Experience

  • IT literacy, particularly working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders of the print room
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to take instructions and follow processes
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Full UK driving licence an advantage
  • Ability to gain SC clearance
  • Experience operating digital printing equipment is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided
