FULL DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established, full-service law firm’s Inverness office. The firm has a strong reputation for advising high-net-worth individuals and business owners across Scotland. This role focuses on estate and succession planning, trust administration, and inheritance tax planning. Ideally suited to a solicitor with 4+ years' PQE looking to develop their career in a supportive and experienced team.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Dealing with the administration of estates, both alongside senior colleagues and independently.
  • Drafting Wills, relevant letters of wishes, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.
  • Assisting with the establishment, administration and wind up of family Trusts and Charities, including personal injury Trusts.
  • Advising on Inheritance Tax and other Capital Tax planning.
  • Contributing to the Team Business Development strategy.
  • Delivering CPD updates upon request.
  • Complying with GDPR requirements.
