Responsibilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive qualified staff (LEVEL 2 OR ABOVE) who are good team players and can also show initiative and the ability to think on your feet in our Barry and Cowbridge nurseries.

We currently have senior and junior nursery nurses available.

Additional responsibilities include

• Thinking on your feet, coming up with great activities for the children to explore at nursery.
• Telling great stories
• Being fun and silly looking for inviting ways for children to learn
• Giving the best cuddles
• not afraid to get a little messy
• sharing with parents all the lovely things the children have done that day in nursery
• being a special friend to our special friends whilst their parents are in work.

Requirements.

Successful candidates will have worked with young children in a nursery environment and have the passion to get the very best for the children that they care for hours.

Successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checking.

Qualifications:

• CCLD level 2or above (or equivalent)
• the ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.

Salary:

• Starting Salary is depends on age, experience and qualifications. The opportunity for personal growth through individualized training paths and senior nursery nurse positions are available to all practitioners and this is reflected in the pay offered.
• Performance related pay is available to all staff at all levels so the better you are the more you will be paid.
• *THE ADVERTISED RATE IS A STARTING RATE AND THE POTENTIAL TO INCREASE IN YOUR HOURLY RATE IS THERE FROM A FEW WEEKS. The more committed you are to the role the more you get paid.*

Hours:

We have full time positions available for between 40 hours on a shift basis or 4 day week
