FULL DESCRIPTION
The Shop Manager will report to the Regional Manager and be responsible for managing the assistant shop manager and shop volunteers. The role involves raising funds for the Hospice by selling donated items, managing finances, ensuring shop premises are clean and tidy, and promoting the work of the Hospice.
Job Purpose and scope
The Shop manager will report directly to the Regional manager and be responsible for managing the assistant shop manager along with the shop volunteers.
The post holder will work on a rota basis raising funds for the Hospice by selling donated items of clothing, household items, and bric a brac to the general public.
The post holder will be accountable for all monies in the shop and be responsible for banking and taking whilst completing weekly returns and dealing with petty cash.
Ensuring that the shop premises are clean and tidy at all times adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
The shop manager will have experience in working towards achieving business objectives, setting quarterly objectives for the assistant manager completing all 1:1 forms, and promoting the work of the Hospice to the general public.
