- Deliver expert, compassionate care to adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
- Use and maintain specialist equipment such as ventilators, infusion devices, and haemodynamic monitors
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or deteriorating patients
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and monitor treatment responses
- Liaise with consultants, doctors, and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in line with NHS protocols
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families
