Role Details
• Position: Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)
• Location: West London – easily accessible via public transport
• Type: Locum / Ad-Hoc / weekends or evenings – your choice.

Key Responsibilities
• Independent assessment and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses
• Triage, diagnose, and initiate treatment plans autonomously
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality urgent care
• Contribute to service development and mentoring junior staff

Job Description

As a Band 7 ENP, you will work within the Emergency Department (ED) providing expert assessment and treatment to patients presenting with a range of minor injuries and illnesses. The role involves:
• Autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Managing minor injuries such as wounds, sprains, fractures, and burns
• Requesting and interpreting diagnostics including X-rays and blood tests
• Prescribing medications where appropriate
• Providing clear documentation and effective handovers
• Supporting the wider clinical team
• Ensuring safe, timely, and evidence-based care aligned with NHS standards

Requirements

• Current NMC registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Band 7 ENP
• Proven experience in minor injury/minor illness management
• V300 Independent Prescribing qualification (highly desirable)
• Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills
