Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to women during pregnancy, labour, and postnatal periods.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, risk monitoring, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Support women in making informed decisions about their care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with NHS guidelines.
  • Mentor junior staff and student midwives where required.
  • Flexibly cover antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services based on your availability.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as a Midwife .
  • Experience as a Band 6 Midwife in an NHS setting is preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply.
  • Proof of immunisations, and up-to-date Mandatory training.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high demand setting.
  • Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
