Revit Technician

Key skills and requirements:

• Assist with the initial set-up of Revit projects and coordination with other consultants including attending project-specific BIM meetings
• Reviewing and maintaining Revit templates, schedules, and standards
• Build and assemble Revit models as required
• Manage Revit implementation, and compliance for architectural projects office-wide
• Troubleshoot Revit issues for the Studio team
• Management of Revit project data/workflows and advise the team on project sharing protocols and workflow management
• Assist with the creation of Revit library objects and verification of existing components and ongoing maintenance of the library
• Set up and maintain the project BEPs
• Review and approve information/models for sharing with consultants as well as auditing incoming and outgoing models
• Project team Revit training and support for individuals and the wider office team including training for new users
• Prepare project specific training documentation and project BIM execution plans
• Provide support in preparing BIM documentation, BIM Scope of Work and contractual documents
• Be aware of latest trends and developments in BIM / Revit
• Sit within the BIM steering group in the studio to help maintain and advance correct process and knowledge in the practice
