Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £36,413 – £53,994 per annum – Outer London and MPS/UPS pay scale available

Secondary Art Teacher – September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver engaging art lessons for students from Key Stage 3 through Key Stage 4.
  • Exhibitions: Organize and showcase student artwork in school exhibitions and local art festivals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects and school productions.
  • Administration: Benefit from the support of a dedicated administrator for smooth operation of all art-related administrative tasks.

About You:

  • A qualified art teacher with significant experience teaching at secondary level.
  • Must hold QTS and a relevant Honours Degree in Art or a related field.
  • A passion for nurturing artistic talent from young learners to advanced students.
  • Experience in leading art clubs and coordinating exhibitions is highly desirable.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, able to work closely with other departments.
  • Ready to fully engage in the life of the school.

Both newly qualified Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply. Essential requirements include QTS, outstanding references, and UK class teaching experience across the Secondary Art curriculum.
