Primary ECT

The Role

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are currently working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ 5-form entry Primary school based in Greenwich. They are currently seeking an ECT for the next academic year. The role would be for the duration of the academic year on a fixed term contract. There is potential for the role to become permanent following completion of the ECT.

As an ECT the role would include all elements and responsibilities expected including planning, preparing and delivering high quality lessons, assessments and reports, liaising with children, parents and other staff and supporting the children both in the classroom and around the school. The role would be based in KS2 with flexibility on the year group.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Understanding of SEND and experience planning for children with EHCPs.
• Ability to engage and inspire students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
• Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students
