Role Description – Primary Teacher

Our Ofsted rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ partner school is looking for a creative, passionate and driven Primary Teacher to join them from February 2025 in Ealing, West London for a 1 year long term contract. Both ECTs and Qualified Teachers encouraged to apply!

I have worked with this Headteacher for over 5 years at their previous school and can vouch for their professionalism, warm nature and dedication to their staff and the development of their school community.

This good sized 2-form entry school boasts a diverse, full intake of pupils, an experienced Teaching team of passionate educators. Year group is open to discussion, across Year 2 and the Headteacher will try as much as possible to meet your wishes regarding this. Experience in Year 2 preferred, but if you are an experienced Teacher looking to explore a different year group, or an ECT with some KS1 experience this will also definitely be available.

You will be responsible for:

• teaching all subjects across the primary curriculum
• developing lesson plans (with your form group partner teacher)
• marking/assessment
• upholding behaviour policy throughout the school
• maintaining positive communication with colleagues, students, and parents
• being a contributing member of the school community

Qualifications

• PGCE Teaching Qualifications and/or QTS
• Experience in creating and implementing curriculum development for
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, students, and parents
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in working with diverse populations is a plus
• Interest in and knowledge of current educational practices and trends
