They are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher (or Humanities Teacher with RE experience) to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of their students. The Role:
The school is looking for an RE Teacher or a Humanities Teacher with RE experience to join their dynamic and supportive team. The role is open to qualified and unqualified teachers with relevant teaching experience, or those who have worked as cover supervisors in a humanities setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that values professional growth while enabling staff to have a positive impact on student development.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Religious Education across key stages 3 and 4 (with potential to teach key stage 5)
- Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons to students
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning
- Collaborate with other staff to develop innovative learning experiences
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and support the school community
The department is incredibly well resourced and many of the lessons would have been already planned beforehand.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A passionate and enthusiastic individual who is committed to student development - Experience teaching Religious Education or Humanities (as a qualified teacher, unqualified teacher, or cover supervisor) - Strong classroom management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - For unqualified teachers: experience with the RE curriculum - A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment - Available to start as soon as possible
