Primary Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant

Primary Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering engaging and effective classroom instruction
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Run literacy and numeracy interventions to boost student achievement
- Produce inspiring and creative classroom displays
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of students
- Supervise outside the classroom during playtime, lunch and school trips
Primary TA – What You Ideally Need to have:
- A recent 2:1 or above degree in any STEM subject, or Psychology
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor
- Experience in running literacy and/or numeracy interventions
- Experience collaborating with a team of teachers and parents
- Excellent spoken and written English skills and the ability to successfully communicate with parents/families
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success
Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience working with SEND students
- Aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
