Pay Range: £36,413 to £53,994

The Role:

The school is looking for a Qualified Science Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team, you will be responsible of delivering science up to KS4, with the potential of KS5.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential to teach Key Stage 5)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons to students
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning
  • Collaborate with other staff to develop innovative learning experiences
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and support the school community
  • The department is incredibly well-resourced, and many lessons will be pre-planned to support you.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A passionate and enthusiastic individual committed to student development
  • Experience teaching Science (QTS Required)
  • ECTs may be considered
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • For unqualified teachers: experience with the Science curriculum
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Available to start in April 2025
