An inclusive, well run and supportive secondary school with a high level of pupils with learning difficulties, require a Behaviour Support Worker who has strong experience with supporting those with severe ASD/ADHD and has been trained in positive handling or other relevant restraint type training.

This Behaviour Support Worker role is an immediate start. They have a child joining their school as soon as they have appointed a suitable person to support her.

She is a Year 7 student with very challenging behaviour, often having outbursts and tends to jump on peoples backs out of the blue! She does well academically – this role is more focused around her behaviour and helping to support her to regulate her emotions and improve her interactions with other students and adults.

With a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, she is a very high needs student and as such, needs a Behaviour Support Worker with proven experience in this field. It would be highly desirable if you have a PRU/ARP type background and is essential to have experience with SEN and those with challenging behaviour.

**Starting rate of pay – £140 per day, rising to £173 after 12 working weeks. Temp to perm offer after 2 terms with a salary of £29,370

**Situated in a lovely Wandsworth location with Northern line and Southwest rail links nearby. School based role with the occasional off-site requirement (home visits etc)

**Work within a multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced support workers, SEN teacher specialists, SENCo, Educational Psychologist and Speech & Language Therapist
