Sixth Form Study Room Supervisor
We are excited to partner with a leading Secondary academy seeking a dedicated Sixth Form Study Room Supervisor to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that every sixth form student has the opportunity to succeed.
About the Role:
As a Study Room Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teachers’ short-term absences, assisting students with their assignments and ensuring a well-ordered classroom environment. Your role will play a vital part in the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and create meaningful opportunities for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and oversee work assigned by teachers, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Manage student behaviour to create a constructive learning atmosphere.
- Manage the leadership of large groups of pupils at one time
- Promote inclusivity by supporting diverse learning needs and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
- Provide feedback on student behaviour and any issues to teachers using the school’s referral procedures.
- Collaborate with subject heads to provide additional support as needed.
- Provide clerical support, including data entry and attendance management.
