You’ll be working with students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs, helping them thrive in a supportive, fun and inclusive environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm Contract – Full-Time – February Start – £95-£110 Per Day – Enfield

You’ll be working with students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs, helping them thrive in a supportive, fun and inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting students with a range of needs/ages throughout their school day.
  • Building strong relationships and fostering communication, ideally holding experience/understanding of BSL Level 1/2 or Makaton.
  • Manual handling and assisting with personal care while keeping every child’s dignity and happiness front and center.
  • Collaborating with the highly experienced and impressive teaching staff to create the best learning experience possible.

About the Successful SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with SEND students – especially those with PMLD and complex needs.
  • Confidence with manual handling and personal care.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a big heart.
  • BSL Level 1 or 2 or Makaton knowledge
  • A DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
  • At least two strong references to back up how excellent you are.
