Role Description – Primary Teacher

This good-sized 2-form entry school boasts a diverse, full intake of pupils, an experienced Teaching team and the chance to teach alongside the ‘best Headteacher I’ve ever worked with!’. As the Year 6 Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching all subjects across the primary curriculum, developing lesson plans (with your form group partner teacher), marking/assessment, maintaining communication with colleagues, students, and parents, as well as a contributing member of the school community.

Day rate equivalent to £34,514 – £51,179 per annum – Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale available.

Qualifications

  • PGCE Teaching Qualifications and QTS is essential
  • Experience in creating and implementing curriculum development for Year 6 primary students, including SATS preparation
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in working with diverse populations is a plus
  • Interest in and knowledge of current educational practices and trends
