We are working on behalf of a fantastic Primary school in Southwark who are looking for graduate teaching assistants starting in September.

- About The Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

You will be working in your subject department, supporting students only around the specific subject. You will be working with students in your degree subject area, they will be grouped by their ability. Those Graduate Teaching Assistants who are keen to develop into excellent practitioners and eventually train as primary teachers will have the opportunity to join the school’s salaried PGCE programme.

You must have a real desire to work in a Primary educational setting. Experience of working in a Primary school is not necessary but some tutoring experience of any kind is a plus. Excellent communication skills are a must.
