[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is one of the largest residential summer schools in the UK, with four campuses and over 1000 students excepted from 70 countries. The Welfare Co-ordinator will provide a warm welcome for new students, Group Leaders and staff, and be responsible for all welfare on camp.

Hours of work
Due to the nature of the role, the working week is not divided into sessions like other summer school staff. The Welfare Co-ordinator will normally have one day off per week.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome for new students, Group Leaders and staff
- Responsible for all welfare on camp mainly students but also working to make sure group leader and staff are all ok.
- Work with the campus manager to implement staff rotas.
- Manage and support House Parents to complete their duties have regular meeting and drop in sessions.
- Take the lead on actively promoting the welfare of the students with support from all other members of staff.
- Conduct basic first aid whenever it is required
- Work with the campus manager to monitor customer feedback and complaints.
- Manage welfare duties, including writing staff rotas and supervising pastoral care duties.
- Plan accommodation for students; organise pre-arrival, departure and damage checks.
- Liaise with Group Leaders, both informally and at meetings to ensure all group needs are me.
- Supervise free time, mealtimes and lights out.
- Help students adjust to the UK and understand personal safety information and school rule.
- Take a lead role in managing the activities and often off-site excursions.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, for example accident reports.
- Carry out all other reasonable tasks.
