Contract Design Engineer

The Role

My client requires an experienced Contract Design Engineer or Draughtsmen for their market leading company in West Yorkshire within the Defence industry.

The client is a very well established gloal company (£40 million turnover) with a great name in the market place for having the most talented Engineers and a busy order book for the next 15-20 years.

The role:

Your role will be working on detailing and 3D modelling heavy rotating equipment for the defence industry.

Requirements:

·Strong experience of detailing and 3D modelling on a 3D Cad package.

·Strong experience of tolerances.

·Heavy industry experience.

Desirable skills:

·Ideally Solid Edge experience – not essential, any strong 3D Cad experience will be considered.

·Experience of working on rotating equipment.

·Experience of working within the Defence Industry.

This role is in the Defence Industry and you will be put through SC clearance, please let me know if you already hold Security Clearance

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:15pm – 2 days a week flexi hours available start an hour earlier or later

Start date: ASAP

Contract length: 3-6 months initially (extremely strong likelihood of extension)
