THE OPPORTUNITY

Logistics Operative

We are currently recruiting for several experienced Logistics Operatives to join our Logistics team at our Cottingham site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the correct production location, on time in the most cost effective way.

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a busy stores environment. You will be positive, proactive and focused on achieving results. To be successful in this role you will have great attention to detail and will enjoy working as part of a team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Picking and issuing of parts
• Updating computerised stock systems
• Carrying out stock checks and housekeeping
• Use of electric lifting equipment and Fork Lift truck

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• FLT licence preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Experience using a warehouse management system is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fast and demanding environment
• Good IT Skills
