Senior Account Manager

A leading global supplier of natural food ingredients including spices, essential oils, food colouring have an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage, develop and grow the UK business.

Location: East Midlands area, Peterborough, Leicester, Northamptonshire, Kettering, Corby, NN18 8LH

Salary: Depending upon experience Circa £60,000 potential bonus

As Senior Account Manager you will manage a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for building strong client relationships. This will include developing account management / sales strategies, co-ordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients’ needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

As Senior Account Manager you will have a proven sales background and experience of maintaining and grow volumes, revenue & profit with both existing and new customers.

Key Experience:

  • Experience within the food import/export industry – ideally with colour and flavours – food ingredients including spices, essential oils, food colouring etc.
  • Strong client and relationship management building relationships across all levels with organisations.
  • Entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Manages the overall sales process of existing and new customers.
  • Negotiating ongoing contracts with customers.
  • Business development of new accounts within the UK across all relevant sectors.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to support the growth of the company including trade exhibitions.
  • This role is predominately office based in Corby, Northamptonshire and will involve UK travel.

This role will suit a Senior Account Manager, Businesses Development Manager, Sales Person who has a proven sales track record ideally within the food industry.
