Technical Director
A leading decorative paint and wall covering manufacture have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Director to join them.
Key Skills: Decorative Paint, wall covering, wallpaper, manufacturing, product development
Location: Manchester
Salary: Circa £80,000 – £90,000 (relocation package possible)
This is a demanding role and as Technical Director it is essential you have experience in the production and manufacturing of paint and wallpaper.
As Technical Director your role will include:
- A history of launching new and innovative products into the Decorative Market (product development)
- Proven problem-solving skills covering technical, process and manufacturing.
- Good understanding of Point of Sale tinting including machine, software and colourant issues.
- Health and Safety understanding and preferably a qualification such as NEBOSH.
- A good understanding of legislation that affects the decorative market.
- A thorough understanding of formulating techniques including solvent based and water based technology.
- A track record of strong leadership and management skills.
- Project management experience.
