We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit items for future installation by carpenters
- Manufacture bespoke fittings and furniture including staircases, kitchen cabinets, and shelving units
- Cut and shape wood by machine or hand
- Repair and maintain doors, door frames, window sills, and cabinets
- Conduct snagging works and site surveys
- Measure and mark wood according to technical drawings
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors
- Produce cutting lists and estimate material requirements
- Draft job briefs and manage production schedules and budgets
- Use a variety of equipment from traditional tools to modern machinery
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and all relevant regulations
- Maintain excellent customer service and client relationships
- Prepare progress reports for the directors
