Head of Sales

Are you a seasoned Sales Manager or Head of Sales with experience in the catering equipment or foodservice industry and with a proven track record of team leadership?

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Sales Manager or Head of Sales to lead our growing team and support our growth aspirations! This is a fantastic chance to join an expanding company with over £10m turnover in its sights. With our growth plans, training, and development support packages, we very much see this role progressing to a Sales Director role for the candidate with the ambition to climb the career ladder.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will not only be responsible for generating opportunities, managing your own quote pipeline and delivering project sales, but also be responsible for steering and motivating our sales team.

This role will allow you to work with some of the UK’s most famous venues and hospitality groups, with your team delivering one-off equipment sales and maintenance contracts to projects in excess of £1.5m.

You will also be supported by an award-winning design, project management, and marketing team, to help maximise your team’s performance.

The fit:

  • Experience within the catering equipment industry is essential, whether from a distributor, design-house or manufacturer
  • You should have experience managing, developing & motivating a sales team
  • You’ll be experienced in helping to deliver the company and your individual sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills to develop relationships with the team, our clients, and suppliers
  • You will have the ability to get to know our customers’ needs, offering a solution in confidence and communicate the design requirements clearly to our design team
  • Experience in site surveying would be ideal, enabling you to provide initial plans to the design team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings & tenders
