Assistant Project Manager - Site & Installations
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the multi‑site delivery of commercial catering equipment projects across the UK. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role, ideal for someone from a construction, fit‑out or installation background who wants to build the experience required to progress into a Project Manager position.
The Role
As Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be on the ground supporting the delivery of multiple live projects, ensuring safe, well‑organised and high‑quality installation of commercial catering equipment and associated works.
You may be supervising several smaller projects concurrently (typically £10,000 – £250,000), or be site‑based on larger projects in excess of £1,000,000, supporting the lead Project Manager with day‑to‑day delivery and coordination.
This role is delivery‑focused rather than desk‑based, providing hands‑on exposure to site management, subcontractor coordination, and programme control—building the skills required to step into a full Project Manager role over time.
You’ll also assist with customer training, snagging, and final handover to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and client satisfaction.

- Support the collection of O&M information including labels, serial numbers, photos, and manuals
- Assist with coordinating customer training and final handover documentation
- Help ensure projects are completed smoothly and professionally
