Customer Technical Support (Roofing/Cladding)

We are keen to hear from candidates who have a good technical background with a 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline as well as candidates who will have at least one years’ experience in a technical area such as mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field.

The successful candidate must:

have a 3rd level qualification in a technical subject e.g engineering / mechanical / chemical engineering OR have a minimum of one years’ experience in a technical area, preferably mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field
be able to demonstrate experience of providing technical support in a sales / commercial environment
be able to demonstrate experience of engineering plastics
have good manual / practical skills
have a good working knowledge of windows based software e.g. Microsoft Office;
be able to initiate tasks and manage multiple tasks and projects
be adaptable and able to cope with rapidly changing demands
Carry out product investigations where necessary

The following would be an advantage:

have a high level of proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software;
knowledge / experience of plastics materials;
Clean driving licence.
