Maintenance Technician

The Role:

Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance of a wide range of plant facilities and high speed processing, handling and packaging equipment, including compressed air, steam, refrigeration systems and effluent plant.  

 24/7 maintenance role, and will therefore must commit to  both days and night shifts 7-7.   7 shifts a fortnight and basic salary works out 54K  and any overtime would be time and half on top.   

The Person:

Will be time-served and will hold a relevant electrical /mechanical engineering qualification – ideally HNC/D qualified

Will have over 3 years’ experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a high speed production environment preferably with a good Electrical aptitude

Will have over 3 years’ PPM experience and worked in a highly automated plant

Be proficient in mechanical & electrical systems including pneumatics, welding, hydraulics, stripping and rebuilding machines; electrical fault-finding, repairs and PLC knowledge

Candidates should be flexible, team-workers who enjoy working in a fast moving, reactive maintenance environment.
