We continue to work with one of our key FMCG manufacturing clients which enjoys an unrivalled reputation for product excellence. With a comprehensive portfolio of food products, the company exports to blue-chip customers across the globe from its multiple sites across the island of Ireland.
The business is committed to the development and evolution of its’ technical capabilities through ongoing investment in new technologies and equipment and supports the ongoing training and development of its people and focus to recruit talented professionals.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager, based in the Cavan border region.
The Role:
You will be responsible for leading the engineering team and delivering an asset care strategy to ensure continuous improvement activities and delivery engineering excellence. Working in collaboration with the Site Management Team and Divisional Group colleagues you will manage the execution of capex projects on time and within budget.
The Person:
- Degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a senior engineering management role, ideally within a Food/Drinks/Packaging environment
- Strong leader, able to motivate and engender strong team working and collaborative work ethos
- Excellent Project Management skills, proven experience of delivering complex capex projects
- Ideally hold a formal Project Management qualification
