Civil Engineer

The Role:

Reporting to the Civil Engineering Divisional Manager, responsible for a Crew of Site Supervisors, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Have a technical background in setting out, ordering from and responsible for any Sub Contractors on Site
• Be active in his/her supporting role with regards to daily duties within the Tarmac Division
• Work to ISO Quality Standards and ensure they are adhered to
• Ensure calculations and measurements for Private and Public works are correct
• Review drawings, quantities ordered, undertake surveying and site supervision while keeping up to date records from all sites
• Working with Crews of up to 5 individuals, you will plan all of their workload in conjunction with managing Client expectations
• Liaising with local councils with regards to Roadworks Management, Traffic Management and ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are followed

The Person:

• Third Level Qualified in Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar management role with strong customer facing skills
• Hold an up to date CSR card
• A strong work ethic with good communication skills
