CNC Machine Operator Needed!

Are you a time served individual who can turn, mill and grind both by hand and on CNC machines? Then [Employer hidden] have the ideal opportunity for you!

Due to their continued expansion of their business and product range our Client, a fast-growing engineering supply manufacturer are now recruiting time-served General Machinist to join their busy, friendly team.

The suitable candidate will also have CAM experience and experience with CAD would really help your application.

You will be a genuine team player who can also work on their own initiative to provide solutions.

Duties of the CNC Machine Operator:

  • Reading technical drawings
  • Turning, Milling and Grinding both manual and CNC machines
  • Working from detailed drawings
  • All measuring, programming & work carried out with precision, accuracy & within tolerances
  • Working as a team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Accountable for own work & flagging issues or error
  • Surface & flat grinding

Essential Skills of the CNC Machine Operator.

  • Time served (min 3 years) in Engineering,
  • Working to high levels of precision by hand and when using CNC machines
  • Ability to problem solve, spot errors and provide solutions to issues that arise Desirable Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to work in a team as well as complete tasks under own initiative
