Level 3 Early Years Educator
A nursery in Shurlock Row, Reading is looking for a Qualified Early Years Educator to their team! Set in the countryside, the nursery offers a meadow, forest school, and extensive outdoor areas. With a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, you will be spending significant time outside supporting children’s development through nature-based play. Hours: Full-time, 40-42.5 hours per week over 4–5 days Opening times: 7:45am-6:15pm (your shifts will fall within these hours) Pay: £13.00–£14.62 per hour

- A nursery in Shurlock Row, Reading is looking for a Qualified Early Years Educator to their team! Set in the countryside, the nursery offers a meadow, forest school, and extensive outdoor areas. With a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, you will be spending significant time outside supporting children’s development through nature-based play. Key Responsibilities: • Enrich the lives of children in your care, ensuring their needs are met through engaging, stimulating activities and learning experiences • Create and maintain a safe, happy, inclusive, and inspiring environment • Champion outdoor learning by supporting a minimum of 3 hours of outdoor play daily, making use of the nursery’s natural spaces • Follow the nursery’s Eco Vision, supporting sustainable practices including cleaning and nappy-changing procedures • Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications & Training: You must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Additional required training includes: * Paediatric First Aid * Safeguarding * FGM Awareness & Prevention * Prevent Duty * Food Hygiene * Allergen Awareness
