FULL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for carrying out day to day activities as arranged by the Operations Team and Senior Management Team, maintaining the store room and company equipment, keeping & updating site data as required and supporting the members of the Engineering team both on site and in the office.

Principal Job Purpose

Responsible for: Carrying out day to day activities as arranged by the Operations Team and Senior Management Team, maintaining the store room and company equipment, keeping & updating site data as required and supporting the members of the Engineering team both on site and in the office.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Carrying out daily tasks as instructed by engineer’s effectively and efficiently including:
  • Assisting with the setting up and dismantling of sites and secure compounds
  • Monitoring soakaway testing on site
  • Carry out in-situ testing including plate bearing and CBR tests on site
  • Undertake gas and groundwater monitoring on site
  • Site walk-over surveys
  • Operation of site equipment including the potential to use a small drilling rig with training and towing of a trailer.
  • Maintaining and sharing accurate records and logs to support the Engineering team
  • Maintaining company equipment, undertaking various maintenance jobs around the office, and basic mechanical support to vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be required
  • Responsible for allocated company equipment and vehicles, including:
  • Carrying out safety checks
  • Cleaning
  • Security
  • Travel and overnight stays
  • Comply with the relevant sections of the company’s policy statement on health, safety, and welfare at work
  • Adhere to the principles of the company’s equality policy and ensure commitment to anti- discriminatory practice
