The role involves leading a team of specialists, managing client relationships, developing strategies, and driving performance across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, analytical, and motivated by results, with experience in paid media management and team leadership.

The Role

We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our growing team.

You’ll lead a team of 2–4 specialists across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta, managing client relationships, developing strategies, and driving performance. You’ll also play a key role in developing your team, building confidence, skill, and autonomy while maintaining outstanding client results.
This is a hands-on, strategic role in a fast-paced, growth-focused agency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of multi-channel Paid Media campaigns across Google, Microsoft, and Meta.
  • Own strategy and performance across your client portfolio, ensuring clear targets, strong returns, and measurable results.
  • Present performance results and growth strategies to clients confidently, both in written reports and on calls.
  • Identify and test new opportunities, channels, formats, and tactics, to drive incremental growth.
  • Maintain best practices, templates, and delivery standards across all client accounts.

Team Management

  • Directly manage and mentor a team of 2–4 paid media professionals.
  • Run 1:1s, create personal development plans, and ensure your team achieves their career goals.
  • Support junior members with client calls, account strategy, and optimisation planning.
  • Lead internal training sessions and share new industry trends, tests, and insights.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members as the department grows.

Client Growth & Business Development

  • Build strong, transparent relationships with clients, becoming a trusted strategic partner.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client activity through new services, products, or channels.
  • Lead on new business pitches, from RFP response and deck creation to client presentation.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in Paid Media management (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta).
  • Proven experience in account management and campaign optimisation.
  • Confident leading client conversations, presenting strategies, and explaining performance data.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • A drive to grow personally and professionally, you’ll be supported with Chartered Marketer training.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, and Microsoft Office.
