Senior Business Analyst Overview:

We are looking for a full-time (35 hours per week) Senior Business Analyst who can support our growing IT Department. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for software platforms, product suites, and business system capabilities
  • Identify solutions and address gaps in products, processes, or knowledge, managing delivery into production and live use across all [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] regional offices
  • Define, develop, and enhance capabilities of existing products and processes in live operation
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions using methodologies such as use cases, user stories, UML diagrams, and related artefacts
  • Test new functionality as defined and developed, through direct and/or collaborative involvement
  • Analyze APIs to support integration with third-party platforms, including airline reservation and airport operations systems, hotel booking tools, payment gateways, insurance services, and more
  • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with third-party providers and specialists to understand system behaviors and interface requirements
  • Present and demonstrate product concepts and solutions internally and externally to clients, supplier partners, and third-party providers
  • Ensure visibility and clear communication of product and process changes, providing defined requirements for technical teams
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and expertise to business and technical teams regarding system requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Senior-level Business Analyst experience, including team leadership and delivery of business system and process change
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple business functions to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong track record of producing clear, effective technical and non-technical documentation
  • Demonstrated understanding of integration technologies, standards, and interfacing methodologies
  • Proficiency in UML and other common modeling languages and tools
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration platforms
  • Working knowledge of airline booking tools, including Travelport or other GDS systems
  • Experience in commercial IT/software delivery, with background in the airline or broader travel industry
