Steeped in history it still has a lot of its original features like the traditional oak beans, open fires and flagstone floors. The pub’s name, unique in Britain, commemorates the 1685 capture of the Duke of Monmouth (Charles II’s bastard son) in Verwood, after his rebellion was defeated.

This is a great opportunity for a career minded H&W Team Member to help lead our wonderful team in developing the huge potential of this totally amazing high energy business.
