Exciting opportunity for a diligent Insurance Commercial Underwriter to join their New Business team as a Senior Commercial Underwriter

Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- You’ll be responsible for evaluating and assessing complex risks across a variety of business classes, including their Motor Trade, Farm, Estates and Commercial Select products as well as being a point of referral for less experienced team members
- You’ll train, coach, mentor and guide team members and provide technical support to various stakeholders across the business and support Change to shape the department and it’s processes, looking to continuously improve the efficiency of their operations
- You’ll also be responsible for delivering short-term and one off projects and activities.
Experience required:
- You’ll be a Commercial Underwriting professional with extensive new business underwriting experience across a variety of business classes
- Property & Liability Commercial Underwriting experience within the mid-market space
- Experience of coaching, mentoring, and training colleagues
