This role involves growing revenue through commercial offerings, managing client relationships, and building partnerships across print, online, social media, and events.

THE ROLE

This role works across the entire [Employer hidden] portfolio, building and managing partnerships across print, online, social media, and events. It is ideal for an organized self starter with a passion for sales and a drive to build strong relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR GJ AND KULTURA

  • Working towards monitored sales targets to grow the [Employer hidden] client base across print, online, social media, and events.
  • Proactively reaching out to new business prospects while leveraging a personal client network to pitch the [Employer hidden] offering.
  • Hosting in-person and digital meetings with new and existing advertisers to sell GJ media partnerships and understand client needs/requirements.
  • Managing new and existing accounts, ensuring all agreed-upon activities are scheduled and delivered according to the client’s brief.
  • Coordinating with client creative teams to collect advertising copy and collateral, briefing GJ’s design and editorial teams ahead of print/online deadlines.
  • Maintaining consistent client communication to re-pitch and upsell the [Employer hidden] offering throughout the year.
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline of potential new clients.
  • Negotiating advertising rates in line with the GJ rate card and client budgets.
  • Creating business confirmation orders and working closely with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payment of partnerships.
  • Developing and updating compelling sales collateral in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • This includes writing copy and sourcing imagery for client-specific pitch decks, as well as broader [Employer hidden] marketing materials (media kits, event briefs, etc.).
  • Tracking and analysing client activities, ensuring campaign performance is monitored, and creating thorough post-campaign reports to share with brands.
  • Working with the online development team to monitor digital ad inventory and ensure impressions are delivered as promised.
  • Identifying new revenue opportunities across the GJ portfolio, including memberships, live events, sponsorships, and product development.
  • Attending industry and client events to generate new business leads, network, and strengthen relationships (some events may be outside office hours).

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 5 years in media sales/luxury partnerships role
  • Thorough understanding of the luxury marketplace (brands, trends, news etc.)
  • Existing network of client/agencies within the luxury space (with a focus on fashion and automotive businesses – preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong grasp of cross-platform sales (online, print, social media and events)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (inc. networking and public speaking when required)
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work across multiple projects concurrently
