Hospice Hub Drop-in Volunteer
This Hospice-based role supports the Hub drop-in sessions for people living with a terminal illness as well as their families or carers. This role requires: providing emotional and social support and being an excellent listener. being able to cope with a spectrum of emotions – sadness and loss but also laughter and humour with people enjoying the time they have left. joining in with the preparation/planning of the Hub. meeting, greeting and registering participants, making refreshments, supporting the therapeutic groups. tidying up before and after the sessions.
