FULL DESCRIPTION

Care Assistant

We seek compassionate and dedicated Care Givers to join our team. As a Care Giver, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and quality of life. This role involves assisting with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and fostering a nurturing environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support individuals with mobility assistance and transfers.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere to care plans and maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
