App and Game Developer

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative AI-Powered App and Game Developer with a strong background in artificial intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), 2D/3D animation, and augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR). Experience in the medical simulation industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to develop immersive, AI-driven applications and games that integrate cutting-edge technologies, including AR/VR, and bring realistic simulations and interactive experiences to life.

Main Duties:

• Design, develop, and optimize apps and games incorporating AI, robotics, IoT, AR, and VR technologies.
• Create immersive AR and VR experiences to enhance applications, particularly in medical simulation and training.
• Integrate 2D and 3D animations into apps and games to provide rich user engagement.
• Develop AI algorithms for in-game characters, autonomous systems, and real-time decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical simulation experts, to define project goals and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Implement IoT technologies into applications for enhanced interactivity and connectivity.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across various platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends in AI, robotics, AR/VR, and medical simulation to incorporate the latest advancements into your projects.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Coalville: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Java, with experience in game development engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and neural networks.
• Experience in developing AR and VR experiences for applications or games.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D animation tools like Blender, Maya, or Adobe Animate.
• Proficiency in IoT technologies and their integration with mobile or web applications.
• Experience in robotics systems, control algorithms, and real-time development.
• Familiarity with medical simulation technology and industry standards is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related fields.
• Prior experience in the medical simulation industry or developing AR/VR applications for healthcare.
• Strong portfolio showcasing developed apps, games, or simulations with AI, robotics, IoT, AR/VR, and animation features.
