Your Role in Practice: A Typical Week at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]
Your week combines live online lessons with lively face-to-face sessions in Exeter. As a Data Analytics Tutor in Exeter, you will mentor a caseload of 60-80 learners, providing tailored feedback and support. Your responsibilities include assessing learner-submitted videos against technical criteria, conducting progress reviews, and ensuring learner records are accurate and up to date.
What You'll Be Doing: Your Impact as a Data Analytics Tutor
Deliver Dynamic Data Analytics Training:
- You will lead engaging online and in-person sessions for the NCFE Level 3 Diploma, cultivating a positive learning environment that grows learner confidence and technical expertise in data analysis.
Guide Individual Learner Progress:
- You will manage your learner caseload by holding thorough reviews, setting specific targets, and providing prompt feedback on practical assessments to help each individual achieve their qualification and career goals.
Assess Practical Technical Competency:
- You will review and assess learner-submitted videos against the NCFE diploma criteria, providing constructive feedback that helps develop their technical occupational skills for Data Technician roles.
Enhance Our Data Curriculum:
- You will apply your industry knowledge to help develop and update learning resources, keeping our data analytics programme relevant and effective for current industry demands.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Experience)
Essential:
- A teaching qualification (e.g., an Award in Education & Training, a Certificate in Education and Training, or a Diploma in Education and Training) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and software development techniques.
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress development.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering qualifications related to Data Analytics.
- An assessor qualification (e.g., A1).
- Familiarity with adult learner funding processes and quality frameworks.

Expenses and Travel:
Please note that the company does not cover household expenses, such as heating or broadband. Travel from your home to your primary delivery location in Exeter is not a reimbursable expense.

The Hiring Process: Transparent & Straightforward
Start Date:
5 January 2026.
Probation Period:
3 months.
Interview Stages:
A two-stage process consisting of one competency-based interview and one micro-teach session, both conducted on Zoom.
DBS Check:
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role, which the company will arrange and cover the cost of.
